Introducing freshPress: A Digital Zine Celebrating Local Creativity
Richmond is getting a new voice in print. The Richmond Seen is set to spotlight the city’s artists, creatives, and small business owners, with a quarterly zine highlighting influential figures from our community. Kicking things off is Richmond’s own Hip Hop Henry, featured in our inaugural edition.
Ahead of the full launch, freshPress serves as a preview of The Richmond Seen, offering collaboration between local creatives. The first issue features original artwork and design by Chris Smart (@theartofcjs), setting the tone for a visually rich and culturally immersive experience.
A portion of the proceeds from each issue of freshPress will go directly to the featured artist and a community organization of their choosing—ensuring that every purchase directly supports Richmond’s creative ecosystem.
