How many times have you heard somebody say, “Yo, it ain’t SHIT to do in Richmond!”
Too many, right?
That very thought is what pushed us to create The Richmond Seen. We wanted to get out the house more and find our people — the ones who look like us, move like us, and love the same dope shit we do. We wanted to build a space where our community wasn’t just talked about but actually felt.

Richmond isn’t lacking in art, culture, or bomb creatives. It’s lacking in togetherness. The Richmond Seen is here to change that — to bring the people to the culture and the culture to the people.
Also, it’s February — but we BLACK 24/7/365. Keep an eye out for events marked with the BLACK FIST, highlighting the culture, legacy, and beauty of Black History Month.
